Dr. Kristian Goulet returned to Ottawa after practicing at the University of New Mexico and Harvard University Children’s Hospital in Boston. He trained in Pediatrics and completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine. During his time at Harvard Dr. Goulet worked extensively in Sports Medicine and most notably with concussions and designed a Concussion Education Program, presented at national conferences and became a certified neuropsychologic testing analyst. In his new practice he will be seeing and treating- • newborns • children of all ages-including walk ins • pediatric sports injuries • concussions • physicals & immunizations • counseling • Dr. Goulet is a member of the following organizations: American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, 2009-Present American College of Sports Medicine, 2008 – Present American Academy of Pediatrics, 2007 – Present American Medical Association, 2007 – Present Canadian Pediatric Society 2011 – Present.

Simon Leung is a Registered Dietitian experienced in helping individuals with diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease and obesity achieve their nutritional goals. Having worked with many clients and patients at The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Simon understands how important nutrition is in the management of acute and chronic diseases. He strongly believes that building better eating habits early, as oppose to dieting, can contribute to lifelong success in leading a healthier, active lifestyle. Simon’s nutrition services are available at the Carlingwood ActiveCare location.


We offer a service that aims to provide patients with individual hands on treatment and advice based on the latest techniques and treatments in conjunction with traditional modalities. We promote goal-setting and the patient’s active participation in their treatment. Our services combine hands on rehabilitation with patient education in conjunction with a traditional modality based treatment to ensure patients get the maximum benefit from physiotherapy.
